These stirring hot plates are designed for a high degree of reliability, safety, and usefulness. The control panel is separated from the hot plate by a dedicated run-off groove designed to channel away any leaks or spills increasing the safety and durability of the unit. The digital displays make it simple to set and monitor both temperature and stirring speed. A "hot plate warning" icon stays activated until the plate temperature cools below 122°F (50°C). Further safety features include a user- programmed maximum temperature setting, preventing the stirrer from heating beyond the desired temperature while also preventing unintentional heat up. Arex Digital PRO Models include a VTF digital thermoregulator with timer for direct temperature control to 572°F (300°C) with accuracy of ±0.5°C, and a 6-ft (1.8-m) power cord with plug. Counter-reaction technology (SpeedServo) ensures a constant speed even if sample viscosity changes Aluminum alloy top provides uniform heat distribution over the entire surface Protective ceramic coating for easy cleaning and excellent resistance to chemicals, scratches, and surface abrasions.
