- This is a screen panel display fixing bracket only for FTM-500DR and FTM510DR, it is not suitable for FTM-400DR, FTM-300DR and FTM-200DR.
- The bracket is designed to solve the pain points in the use of FTM-500DR and FTM510DR. Since the display panel design of these two models of equipment has added audio functions, the size and weight are much larger than the previous old equipment versions. As a result, many users who install it in the vehicle will experience screen jitter and the original bracket is damaged when using it.
- After our non-paved road test with a total mileage of more than 10,000 miles, and our continuous optimization design, the bracket has now reached the best state and can be directly replaced and installed without any changes.
- Regarding this product, we tried to use various materials such as metal and nylon plastic. We think aluminum alloy is the most suitable material. Because of the aluminum alloy material, its quality can provide tough metal characteristics while maintaining lightweight. At the same time, we improved the control ball head of the bracket, and the ball head screw was thickened to M8. The original bracket hole is M5. The ball head diameter is 1 inch/25mm.
- Installation steps: 1. After using the control ball head connecting rod we provide to fix it to the appropriate depth of the metal bracket, adjust the nut on the connecting rod to tighten the ball head and the bracket. 2. Remove the 4 screws on the original control panel and separate the original panel and plastic bracket. 3. Install the metal bracket to fit the back of the original control panel, adjust the appropriate angle, and tighten it with the original 4 screws to complete the installation.
