Vestil FM-2072 Mechanical Edge-O-Dock Leveler, 20,000-lb. Capacity, 72" Usable Width , Brown

This Vestil FM-2072 Edge-O-Dock mechanical dock leveler attaches permanently to any loading dock with a steel edge or approach ramp and corrects height differences between a truck and the dock for smooth loading and unloading. It does not require a concrete recess and has a 5" service range above and below the dock. It is made of steel for strength and durability and has a non-skid raised treadplate pattern for safety. Bumpers measuring 18 x 8 x 2 inches (H x W x L) are located on each end for protecting the dock and truck. The ramping length is 29" when extended, with a 72" usable width. It has a mechanical spring counterbalance and is operated using an actuation handle. The handle is placed into the pocket of the inner lip and pulled down toward the floor, then pushed forward until the lip rests on the truck or trailer bed. When the truck departs, the lip automatically retracts behind the bumper face. This mechanical dock leveler measures 18 x 99 x 15 inches (H x W x L) when in stored position and has a 20,000-lb. capacity. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is Length, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
