This is a combination pencil and dip pen from the late 19th century. The combined length of the pencil and dip pen is approximately 16cm when extended, and approximately 11cm when retracted. Both pen nibs are original and antique. The pencil is a twist-feed type, and the lead diameter is about 2.3mm, a size not currently available. The lead can be made by soaking an HB or B pencil in water for a day, then removing the lead. It's not difficult to find a replacement, as standard pencil leads can be shaved down to fit. The dip pen is fully functional. Although not recommended, the nib can be removed and replaced with another.
