Vintage Excello 50s-60s Dutch Children Divided Warming Dish Plate Orig Cork USA

Considered a transition piece, this dish combines elements like the original cork stopper and the move to plastics. The dish has the metal base but was produced with the Melamine insert. This was considered a move away from the, sometimes fragile, ceramic inserts before moving to a full plastic production. This particular item dates from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.
