Vintage Jack in the box Sherlock Holmes Rare Made USA

This is one of my favorite toys in my collection and you have a chance to own it now. This Sherlock Holmes made in In 1985, Jax of Maine produced a series of distinctive, handcrafted wooden Jack-in-the-Box toys that have since become rare collectors' items. Unlike traditional metal boxes with a crank and music, these were typically operated by pressing a "secret" panel or lifting a latch on a solid maple wood box.
I have never tried to push it back inside the box to have it pop out. I was always worried about the age and how fragile the item is. It looks very well made and is a highlight for any collection. I hope he finds a good home and I know he will become your favorite. The tag is not yellowed and the paper is white with no yellowing due to the age. There is one drying crack on the wood due to age it does not affect the function.
