These hand-painted pottery salt and pepper shakers are most likely a souvenir from Mexico during the 1950s. You can tell from the bottom that they are made of red clay. Probably pressed into a mold, then fired and glazed by hand. They have a wonderful patina and feel to them. Excellent vintage condition; cork stopper are missing and one chip on the bottom.
