This is likely a mohair knit from the 1950s or 60s.
The blend is 40% polyester, 30% wool, and 30% mohair.
The size is L. Measurements are taken flat, by a layman:
Shoulder width: 55 cm
Body width: 58 cm
Sleeve length: 61 cm
Length: 64 cm
All measurements include ribbing.
Vintage clothing prices have been rising year after year, and mohair knits are seeing a particularly significant increase.
The condition is generally good for its age, with no major tears. There appears to be a repair on the chest, but it's the same color and not very noticeable.
The mohair blend is relatively high, and the fibers are a bit long.
I am selling this due to unexpected expenses. I have some knowledge of vintage clothing, and I expect prices to continue to rise. I believe this will be a main piece for the winter, so I hope to pass it on to someone who appreciates it.
