This rare sweatshirt is made using a method that mimics the weaving of wool. It's manufactured on a loopwheel knitting machine using a pique knit, then brushed on the reverse side. Furthermore, it's yarn-dyed, meaning the yarn is dyed before the fabric is knitted, rather than dyeing the fabric itself. This results in a unique flickering appearance on the surface and a distinctive uneven texture. This is a rare 1930s heather sweatshirt, made using the same method as pre-dyed gray and oatmeal.
