A distinctive, swift-drying, water-based grain filler and wood putty that takes stain wonderfully or can be colored. It never spoils, is easy to apply and clean up, and won't shrink, crack, or fall out. It only sets permanently when a finish is applied. If you're dissatisfied with its appearance or color, simply add water to remove it. If it freezes, warm it up in the microwave, or if it dries out, stir in water for zero waste. The manufacturer suggests using stainless steel or plastic tools to apply, as Timbermate may react with low-grade steels and turn black. If this occurs, add water to remove it or wait for it to dry and sand it off.
