West System 105A Epoxy Resin (32 fl oz) Bundle with 206A Slow Epoxy Hardener (7 fl oz). Also Includes one Resin and one Hardener Pump. This bundle contains WEST SYSTEM 105-A Epoxy Resin (32 fl oz), WEST SYSTEM 206-A Hardener (7 fl oz), and one set of calibrated 300 Mini Pumps. 206 Slow Hardener is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent for use when extended working time or a longer cure time is needed. It also provides adequate working time at higher shop temperatures. When combined with 105 Resin in a five-part epoxy resin to one-part hardener ratio, the cured Resin/Hardener mixture yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid with excellent bonding and barrier coating properties. 206 Slow Hardener is not intended for clear coating. We designed 105 Epoxy Resin to wet out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, and reinforcing fabrics. It also bonds well with a variety of metals. Unlike traditional wood glues, WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin-based epoxy mixtures are stronger than wood or many other substrates. With this epoxy, the goal of clamping is to simply ensure the epoxy contacts the entire surface for the duration of the cure time. Moderating clamp force is all that is required.105 Epoxy Resin is the base material on which all WEST SYSTEM 105 System epoxy compounds are built. It is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended with hardener at the proper ratio, it cures to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties. Based on which hardener you choose, it cures at a wide range of temperatures. Once cured, it forms a high-strength solid that is functionally waterproof, and highly resistant to moisture vapor Epoxy vs. Esters. We’ve formulated 105 Epoxy Resin (and its corresponding hardeners) without volatile solvents. Unlike polyester or vinylester resins, our epoxy virtually does not shrink after curing. With a relatively high flash point and no solvent odor, it’s safer to use than styrenated resins.WEST SYSTEM 403-28 Microfibers, 20 oz403 Microfibers Adhesive Filler is a fine fiber blend. Use it to thicken epoxy blended resin/hardener and create a multi-purpose adhesive. It’s most popular use is for bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with microfibers has good gap-filling qualities but will still do an excellent job of wetting-out/penetrating into wood fibers. You can blend it into any WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. Blended with epoxy, it will cure to an off-white color.

  • CONVENIENT EPOXY BUNDLE contains one can of WEST SYSTEM 105-A Resin (32 fl oz), WEST SYSTEM 206-A Slow Hardener (7 fl oz), and one set of calibrated 300 Mini Pumps. (206 Slow Hardener) is a low-viscosity epoxy curing agent for use when extended working time or a longer cure time is needed.
  • 105 EPOXY RESIN is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended with 206 Slow Hardener at a 5:1 ratio, it cures to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties. It will wet out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics and a variety of metals.
  • THIS BLEND OF FINE FIBERS (403 Microfibers) thickens mixed epoxy resin and hardener to create a multi-purpose adhesive. Its most popular use is for bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with microfibers has good gap-filling qualities but will still do an excellent job of wetting-out/penetrating into wood fibers.
  • THE AMOUNT OF FILLER (403 Microfibers) you add controls epoxy's viscosity. There is no strict formula, just use your eye to judge what consistency will work best for the job at hand.
  • FOR CONSISTENCY across a project that calls for several batches of epoxy that's thickened to the same degree, you can create your own epoxy/filler "recipe."
