A rare and comprehensive original paper ephemera lot belonging to 1st Sergeant Frank C. Bauer of Company "C", 5th Ammunition Train, Motor Battalion, American Expeditionary Forces. This collection provides an incredible look into the administrative life of a Motor Battalion during the post-Armistice period in France/Germany.


​The Lot Includes:

●​Original Duty Roster Booklet (February 1919): A complete "Form 342, A.G.O." booklet. It features handwritten entries for numerous soldiers, tracking "Charge of Quarters," "Fatigue," and "Guard Roster" duties. Names include Sgt. Bauer, Jones, Mendinghall, Sorenson, and many others.

●​Official Leave Pass (March 1919): A signed permission slip for 1st Sgt. Bauer to be absent for the purpose of visiting Esch, Luxemburg. Signed by Captain M.J. Reidy.

●​Comprehensive Company Rosters (Dec 1918 & March 1919): Several large typed sheets listing the entire company by rank—from Captain and Lieutenants down to Wagoners, Buglers, and Privates.
