Koishihara ware is the first kiln in Chikuzen, opened by the lord of Kuroda clan in the 17th century in the early Edo period. Since then, the Koishihara ware has been influenced by the original Takaori ware in the pebblem. It has been used by people in the region, but the existence of folk arts began in the early 20th century, it became noticeable.
