- This caliper press tool is suitable for twin and quad piston fixed calipers, as well as single and twin piston floating calipers and with 2PCS big expansion plates for bigger calipers. And the distance between the two expansion plates is 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" (2" to 3" when adding the 2PCS big expansion plates), please check your brake caliper size first before purchasing.
- There is a 360 degree swing ratchet in the middle of the two expansion plates, can be inserted into the caliper at any direction. The ratchet works only when there is a certain pressure on the expansion plates. You can extend the pressure of the expansion plates to a suitable width by hand, and then put it into the calipers.
- The brake caliper piston ratchet wrench uses 1/8" thickness high quality steel expansion plates, very hard. The two expansion plates keep parallel to ensure that the caliper piston is subjected to uniform force, preventing damage to the caliper or piston dislocation.
- Swing the long handle to operate the ratchet, and toggle the reversing switch to switch between expansion and contraction. This brake caliper piston expander is a very helpful tool for doing brake pad replacement, resetting the piston, changing the brake and doing other brake works
