10.5cm leFH18 Howitzer (GE572)

Introduced in 1935, the 10.5cm leFH 18 howitzer served throughout World War II. In 1940, a more potent charge increased its range to 12,325 meters, prompting the addition of a muzzle brake. Despite its modern design, the howitzer remained heavy, requiring tractors or limber teams for quick movement. Even late in the war, it could be towed by horse-drawn teams or vehicles like the Sd Kfz 11. The projectile was separable, with six load options for varying ranges.
