The threading ring must be manually screwed onto the entire length of the work piece's thread without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the Werkstück's thread does not meet the required standards (Ausschuss)
- Reference Temperature: Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at a reference temperature of 20°C
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers on-request Werkskalibrierschein. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following DIN, ISO, ANSI standards on IAC-Gewindescanner
