A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a combination of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn, with the latter marked by a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without excessive force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side should only screw in up to two turns by hand. If it goes further, the thread is also rejected. All parts and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein. Calibration is done in an independent lab following set norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
